Home improvement, job by job

VSN HOME IMPROVEMENT does this work in All of Massachusetts. You talk with Kevin. The scope of each house is agreed on the visit, not from a printed list.

Why the trades are listed separately

A deck, a chimney, and a bathroom are not looked at the same way. Naming the work helps you arrive at the visit with the right question: which part of the house, what is failing, and what needs to be ready.

  1. 01

    Decks and exterior trim

New or repaired decks, and trim at windows and doors when the edge of the house no longer closes evenly.

  2. 02

    Siding and chimneys

The exterior skin of the house and chimney work, so the place reads as one building from the street instead of a patchwork.

  3. 03

    Additions and dormers

More room in the house you already have: an added space or a dormer. The size is measured on site.

  4. 04

    Framing

The wood structure of an addition, a new opening, or a repair that reaches the skeleton of the house.

  5. 05

    Bathroom and kitchen remodeling

We renew the bathroom or kitchen you use every day: finishes, cabinets, and counters, with a scope agreed on the visit.

  6. 06

    Flooring

Floors in rooms, halls, and walking paths. The material follows whether the spot gets wet, takes heavy traffic, or calls for wood.

  7. 07

    Interior trim

Baseboards, casings, shelves, and built-ins, and the finish around a living-room fireplace when the room asks for it.

  8. 08

    Outdoor hardscaping

Retaining walls, stone, and the grade beside the house, so water and foot traffic do not eat the yard.

  9. 09

    Driveways and garage construction

Driveways and everyday garages, with a base that can take the weight and a Massachusetts winter.

  10. 10

    All phases of construction

When the project needs it, we stay with it from start to finish: prepare the site, build, and leave it ready to use.

Across Massachusetts

The work is across Massachusetts. Winter wets the wood, coastal wind wears the exterior, and older houses need the structure looked at before a room is added. That does not replace seeing your house. It helps you arrive with your eyes open.
